Come and join the celebration as the Waco Performing Arts Company brings the fun of New Orleans' Mardi Gras to Waco's own Austin Avenue for the evening of February 2, 2008 - Groundhog day and the day before the Superbowl.

This night of merriment will be held from 8-Midnight on Austin Avenue, between 8th and 7th Streets. Austin Avenue and 8th Street will be transformed into Broadway and Bourbon Street for this Masquerade Block Party benefiting the Waco Performing Arts Company. A ticket price of $100 lets you venture into any of the 6 venues and includes all food and drink (excluding the VIP dinner at the Green Room Grille, available separately).

Downtown merchants on Austin Avenue, such as The Palladium, The Green Room Grille, and the Hippodrome, will be joining together with other downtown and city-wide sponsors in an effort to to bring this attraction to the artery of our city for a jazzed evening of purple carpet magic.
